Use and Care

• First-Time Preparation (Seasoning): Heat the pot for 10–15 minutes until it stops smoking. Then, heat coarse salt in the pot until the salt changes color (about 5–10 minutes). Let the pot cool down, and then coat the inner surface with a thin layer of cooking oil.

• Cleaning: Wash the pot with warm water. Do not use dish soap or wash it in a dishwasher. Detergents strip away the natural protective layer of the cast iron, which will cause food to stick.

• Storage: After washing, dry the pot thoroughly and lightly coat the surface with oil to prevent rust.
